A literature review of the intersections of COVID-19 and gender in low and middle-income countries. We reviewed more than 300 peer-reviewed and pre-print articles, working papers, reports, and briefs to understand what research did (and did not) focus on in terms of women and girl’s health, gender norms and gendered social outcomes, economic impacts, women’s collectives, and women’s leadership.
